Mary Devine Obituary
Jeanette was born on October 19, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Pauline M. (McKim) Devine. She graduated from Delone Catholic High School Class of 1956. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Basilica in Hanover, which she loved greatly and supported generously. She also supported many charitable and community causes. Jeanette worked for Adams County Bank for many years. Jeanette and her sister, Catherine, owned and operated Devine Beer Distributor in Edgegrove from December 1980 and until April 2012. Her parents opened the business in 1947 and formerly operated it under the name T. F. and P. M. Devine Beer Distributor.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her sister Catherine L. Devine who passed away on November 1, 2013.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jeanette's Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Dr., Hanover, PA 17331 with Rev. James E. Lease and Rev. Dwight D. Schlaline as celebrant. Interment will follow at Conewago Chapel Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, PA 17344 with prayers at 7:00PM
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeanette's memory may be made to Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Dr., Hanover, PA 17331.
