I first met Nina in 1973, was roommates with her in an old house on Mt Washington and friends for mnsy years. We lost touch in the 90's but tonight she came strongly to my mind. I searched FACEBOOK and after research found the news of her passing. I am so sorry- she was always in my heart over the years and I will miss her light, style and joy of life- thank you- Imsara

Just found out about Nina's passing. I remember hanging out at the Cliffside with Nina, Diane, Beans and the rest of our gang. You will be missed. My prayers are with you and your family and friends.

Bo knew Nina much better than I, but when we visited her home she was always so kind and funny. We were quite saddened to hear of her passing on to Eternal Life... yet where every tear will be wiped away.

Nina my friend…I cannot express in words how I will miss you… I remember all the fun times we had together going to the Pittsburgh Art Institute..You will always be in my heart and I shall never forget you. My family owned the Cliffside for 32 years ... we had a "Nina" salad . A real hit . I would ask her to sit in a certain seat where her reflection would be seen from mirror to mirror . She didn't know or never told me she knew she was a decoration !! She also was the first artist to show in the restaurant . Her idea to price it all ! Miss her so much .Dianne Damico

One of the many joys of being friends with the Trout family was always seeing Nina at Christmas when I would stop in to see Terry. What a beautiful woman and a wonderful soul. Thoughts go out to the entire family.

Nina was the most special person! I never saw her when she was not upbeat! When you were around Nina you just felt better her energy was that amazing. What a terrible loss, love you Nina RIP.. my friend!
