Raymond Cline Obituary

Raymond Boyd Cline departed this life peacefully at his home in Okmulgee on the evening of
Monday, August 18, 2025. He was born July 1, 1948, in Woodsfield, Ohio, to the late Robert
William and Margie Faye (Furer) Cline.
Raymond grew up in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Okmulgee High School in
1967. Shortly thereafter, he answered the call to serve his country, joining the United States Air
Force and faithfully serving from 1968 to 1972. It was during this time that he married the love of
his life, Ingrid Waldroop, on September 6, 1969, in Okmulgee.
Upon completing his military service, Raymond began a long and dedicated career with the
United States Postal Service, from which he retired in 1985. Raymond then followed his passion
for street rods, founding Cline's Designs, a show car autobody business.
Raymond was a longtime member of the Okmulgee Elks Lodge and Trinity Lutheran Church.
Raymond was preceded in passing by his father, Robert Cline, Sr.; his mother, Margie Butler;
and his step-father, Robert Butler.
He leaves cherished memories with his beloved wife, Ingrid Cline, of the home; his sons, Keith
Cline and Justin Cline both of Okmulgee; and his grandchildren, Jesse Cline and Keller Cline,
along with their mother, Dana Cline, all of Jenks. He is also survived by siblings Gary Cline and
wife Geneva of Muskogee, Rebecca Arnold and husband Joe of Okmulgee, Robert Cline, Jr.,
and wife Debbie of Tulsa; and Sheila Shamblin and husband Stoney of Webbers Falls; as well
as numerous nieces, nephews and Raymond's best friend, Jack Fuller.
Raymond never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Raymond's life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 25, 2025, at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Okmulgee, with Reverend Richard Dailey officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Raymond's memory.
