Larry Brassfield Obituary
EAST FULTONHAM: Larry R. Brassfield, 70, of East Fultonham, died at 8:03 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2012 at his home.
He was born on February 25, 1942 in Pee Wee, TN. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He retired from the United States Postal Service. He loved to fish, listen to music, enjoyed collecting music and movies from his computer, and loved watching his grandsons play ball. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #726.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Brassfield; two sons, Larry R. Brassfield and Rick Brassfield; five grandsons, Dakota, Jules, Mayson, Caleb, and Tucker Brassfield; one great-granddaugher, Macie Brassfield; four sisters, Linda (Ron) Anderson, Janey (Lanis) Ford, Faye Warren, and Zoe Leddington; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his biological parents, James and Ruby Davis; his adoptive parents, Glen and Lydia Brassfield; two brothers, J.B. Davis and Rex Davis.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Rev. Al Laese officiating. Burial will be in Stovertown Lutheran Cemetery. Zanesville VFW Post #1058 will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
