Peter J. Richards

NEW LEXINGTON: Peter J. Richards, 54, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born July 12, 1963 in Zanesville, Ohio, Graduate of New Lexington High School, member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus 1065, and did extensive work for the American Red Cross.

Peter is survived by his wife, Becky Richards, his Mother, Pauline Smeltzer Richards of New Lexington, his brother, Scott (Tracy) Richards, of New Lexington, sisters, Beth Swallow of Columbus and Sarah Woodrum of Warsaw.

He was Preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Richards, brother, Richard and sister, Paula Richards.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the CHUTE-WILEY FUNERAL HOME, 118 S Jackson Street, New Lexington. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, corner of Main & Water Sts., New Lexington with Father C.M. Haddad as Celebrant. Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery. www.chutewiley.com.
