Mr. Libby was an exceptional reference librarian. Living close to the Main Library I was always going over there to get books. He was a kind, gentle and nice person who really helped me find the books I needed to do my homework. This was during the time of the card catalog -- eons ago. I could always count on him to help me. He was always at the library. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family.

I will forever have fond memories of my Great (in both senses of the word) Uncle Ralph. Your devotion to your family, your love of books, and your zest for life were truly inspiring.
Vallejo High School 50th class reunion, 1991. Ralph was class president in 1941.

Ralph was my husband's brother. And even though he was my brother-in-law..... he was more like a brother to me, too. We loved each other, and I will miss him very much.
