Roseville, CA - Martha "Mat" Elizabeth [Dobbins] Sanborn
06/08/1966 - 02/27/2024
Mat grew up in Bradford, VT the 7th of 10 children of Evelyn & Leonard Dobbins.
Along with her parents, she is survived by all eight sisters and a brother [Esther, Audrey, Susan, Teresa, Veronica, Annie, Sarita, Charlie & Owen].
Mat graduated Oxbow HS in 1984 and then earned an AS degree from UVM and worked in the Healthcare Field.
She then moved to San Diego, CA and got married on November 30, 1991 to Dave Sanborn II of Orford, NH where her focus shifted to raising a family.
As a mother, Mat found her passion and meaning in life raising two outstanding children. David Moore III [29] & Molly Elizabeth [27] both currently of Roseville, CA. Nothing brought her more pride than her children.
Along with her family, another of Mat's passions was for traveling and camping. She had a travel van which she utilized to visit all 50 States as well as many Canadian Provinces and numerous State and National Parks.
While her time with us may have seemed brief, Mat left a lasting impression on everyone she knew and met leaving behind many family members and close friends. And although her illness and passing was quick, she felt blessed for the quality of life and love she shared with so many people.
Mat passed away peacefully on her own terms, in her home surrounded by her husband & children.
She will be deeply and profoundly missed...

David (and family), I am so very sorry for your loss. Although we haven't been in touch, this feels very personal. David and I went to school together. And my family went to church with the Dobbins family for many years.

Our sincere condolences from all the Stever families. Martha was taken away all too young. She went to school with both my sons. Kevin and Peter. Matt was in Peter´s class at Oxbow.
