I just got back home from Virginia and learned of Karen's passing from a friend. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. As I dated Karen for a while after I graduated high school, I really find this information hard to take. I was home because of my step-father's funeral. I will miss her smile and many other memories that would take too long to mention. I will always keep her in my memories and those fun days with the youth group at Winfree.

I was also in shock when my mom told me of Karen's passing. I shared some dear mememories with her in our teen years. We went to the same church and I know that she is in Heaven now. My Prayers go out to Her mom and dad and Jeff and his family.

I was in shock when I read Karen's obituary this morning. It's so sad to lose someone so young and full of energy. It's been many years since we were playing volleyball, basketball & soccer for the Midlo Trojans. To Karen's family members ~ please know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you during this truly difficult time.

While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet her in heaven. My friend, Karen will be sincerely missed. I am so blessed to have known her and have had her in my life.

You will be missed. Your presence brought smiles to everyone and I appreciate having known you, laughed with you and worked with you.
