Dr Thedieck delivered both my children, my son in 1979 and my daughter in 1984. But I would not have my daughter had it not been for Dr Thedieck being the best, most caring and wonderful doctor he was. He went the extra 100+ miles to repair a ruptured tube (the only one I had) after an ectopic pregnancy and against all odds it worked! Thank you, Dr Thedieck! More than I can ever say. She is a light and inspiration to many people. The world is a better place with her in it, as the world is a better place that you were, and she would not be here if not for you.

I returned from an extended trip and was truly saddened to hear of the death of this fine man. When I used to call, he'd yell for Mary Martha saying how hard it was to find her in their '23 room house'. God bless him

Dr. T was such a charmer. He used to visit our office at the Actuarial Consulting Group and called all of us women "Darlin" and "Honey" and would tell me not to tell his wife but he'd be happy to take me out to breakfast after his meeting. We never went but it was all harmless fun and he was crazy about his wife which was why it was so funny and sweet. He just had this genteel, old fashioned charm about him. He'll be greatly missed!

Dr. Thedieck was my OBGYN with my one and only child. His calm manner and reassurance went a long way with this new mother to be! Twenty-six years ago he delivered my little angel ~ and left me a smilie face proving it! I also remember his bow ties...and wondered if any of them spun around. He's a man you don't forget. I'm glad our paths met.

I wish i knew just where to start. Uncle Charlie no doubt was one of the greatest men i ever had the priveledge meeting. A noble, kind, giving, forgiving, brilliant, fishing man. i idolized him, he is a great role model and will be greatly missed. I only wish i could be there for my granny and cousins in their time of need but you guys know i am praying for you and love you all very dearly and cannot wait to see you when i get home.

Dr. Thedieck delivered both of my children and I will never forget him. I drove all the way from Amelia to the West End and Henrico Doctor's Hospital and it was worth the drive back in 1978 and 1981! Your loved one was an excellent, caring doctor. Bless you all. Diane Beasley, former patient

Dr. Thedieck befriended me shortly after I began my practice, and remained a medical colleague and friend ever since the mid seventies. Always upbeat, and friendly to a younger doctor, who appreciated his friendship. My condolences to all the family. We will miss him.

When I became pregnant with our only child, my parents (Julien and Sharon Picot) suggested I called Charlie Thedieck for a OB/GYN reference. I did. And when our beautiful daughter (Sharon Marie) was born and I had complications from HELLP Syndrome, we called him once again for advice. He provided great advice to my husband and family in our time of need and was also a great source of advice as I started my journey to motherhood. I will sorely miss Dr. Thedieck!!! God bless him and his family. My parents, my husband, my daugher and myself owe a lot to that man!!!
