Isabel Meffan Parsels Dudley

DUDLEY, Isabel Meffan Parsels, 91, of Brandermill Woods Retirement Community, passed away on November 10, 2008 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. Isabel was born in October, 1917 in Bethlehem, Pa., the last of five daughters of Davidina and William A. Parsels. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John H. Dudley; sons, Wray Dudley of Richmond and David Dudley of Williamsburg; grandsons, Stephen Dudley of Fredericksburg and Christopher Dudley of Williamsburg; and one sister, Ruth Evelyn Parsels, residing in Allentown, Pa. Isabel was a loving, devoted wife, mother and homemaker for her family. She was active in the Bon Air Women's Club and gave over 3000 hours volunteer service with Chippenham Hospital. A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, November 13, at the Brandermill Woods Heath Care Center. After cremation, remains will be taken to Bethlehem, Pa., for burial in the Parsels family plot.
