Just two nights ago i had a friend laughing hysterically over stories of how the Sowders entertained themselves with the harmless pranks they played on unsuspecting house guests. Beverly's charm and composure was a brilliant cover for her dry wit. I send my love and sympathy to Stuart and the rest of the family.

Don and family, I want you to know that I was very fond of Beverly. She was always so kind to me when she was in Martin Jewelry while I was working there. I always looked forward to her coming in. I know that Eleanor will miss her so much. I have fond memories of visiting your home in Fairfax Station and also of being at Alison's wedding when The Lost and Found played for the reception. Please find comfort in all of your great memories. Love, Barbara Parker

Dear Don, We are so saddened by the loss of Beverly. She was the first person to welcome us to Roxshire with her sweet treats and warm personality. I loved seeing her ride around the neighborhood on her bicycle, always smiling and stopping to say hello. She truly cared, was genuine, and always listened. I only hope that PM and I will be able to share 51 years together as you did. All the best. Love, The Mansfield Family

Beverly was such a lovely lady. She is a big reason why my husband and I stayed at River Road UMC when we moved back to Richmond. She greeted us warmly and sincerely and made us feel at home. I will miss her smile, her laugh, and her comforting presence. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Sowder family.
