Timothy Sowder Obituary

He was a member of West View Baptist Church in Frankfort. Timothy was a food connoisseur, loved karaoke, a tech enthusiast, and loved watching the Andy Griffith Show.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Chassie Sargent and Eddie and Alice Adams Sowder; and his daughter, Danielle Walls.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 7 years, Carla Sowder; his parents, Ronnie and Barbra Joyce Sowder; his sister, Beverly Burba (Bobby); his daughters, Kontrina Tinsley (Billy Sean) and Amber Sowder; his sons, Jon Sowder (Megan) and Micheal Sowder (Sarah); his step sons, Aaron Franklin, Alex Franklin, and Andrew Franklin (Kim); his beloved dog, Molly; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and cousins.
The funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation is 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Brodhead, Kentucky. Expressions of sympathy may be made towards Timothy's funeral expenses.
