Sybil Shearin

Arthur was the sweetest man I ever met. He was a giver to everyone. He called Malvin Hunter Shearin his brother whom I married all the time just to chat. He had a smile and a laugh that could not be forgotten. I know I will miss those who have gone home to be with the Lord.

To Mrs. Shearin and Family…You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Shearin was a special man and absolutely the best neighbor. He was always there without hesitation to lend a helping hand. He will be truly missed.

On behalf of the New Highland Baptist family, we offer our prayers and encouragement to Ann and the rest of the family. May the Lord Jesus be alongside you as you face the days and weeks ahead. We rejoice in the Risen Lord and that Arthur was a child of God. 1 Cor. 15:57 "We have victory through the Lord Jesus Christ." Blessings, Pastor Bob Lee, Melanie and Isabella

Even though Mr. Shearin was not a part of my biological family, he was like the favorite uncle. My father and he were best friends. When my parents were away on vacations, he would always check on me to make sure I was okay. When the weather was nice my Dad and Mr. Shearin were always in our back yard tinkering on one thing or another. Mr. Shearin will be greatly missed.
