Sarah,
It's been a long time. You see, my head couldn't handle your passing.. It took me 3 years from the point I suspected something had happened to finally research it.
I lied to myself, I said you were just busy with your day to day, or that you were concentrating on a relationship that could work.
I knew it wasn't true.
I shut my entire ego down. For 3 years, I wasn't allowed to feel. Because I knew that if I did; I would feel pain and this wasn't to be allowed.
Somehow if I hid it from myself, I felt like, I could make it not be true.
Sarah, we were star crossed. It was never going to work. We were too much alike. We argued too much. We were too stubborn..
But that doesn't mean I didn't love you. You were the center of my heart. Honestly you still are and I can't think of a time when I wouldn't think about you several times a day and smile. It still happens now, and did even before I found your obit.
When I found the obit, I couldn't deny it. What was funny was I just thought a month or so ago, when I ran across your name on AIM; that you must have been busy. I literally refused to acknowledge even what I had suspected and had even asked Don about.
I broke down immediately once I saw it. I literally cried for a week straight. I couldn't even eat, I lost 12lbs.
I'm doing better, but this has been so hard.
You were the light of my life.. I lived most of my life, to share it with you.
Now that you're gone, there's a hole, and it's worse than anything you can imagine.
Because we learned so early that we didn't work in this existence, I already had a hole. It just didn't hurt like this one does.
At least I could fill that hole, with a brief IM with you, or a call where we'd go on about the various movies and music that always seemed so important..
I'd cut off both my arms right now just to hear your voice one more time, and give you a tender kiss goodbye.
Sarah, I love you. I love Nate, I'm already in contact with him and I'm taking care of him the best I can. Even if that only means I'm his friend.
Sarah, though, I am mad at you: You made me go on a soul-searching journey. I hate those!
Honestly though; don't worry too much. I needed to do it. It was good.
Overall Sarah, we'll end up in the same place again, I know it! When we do, we'll figure out what happens there.
All I know, is that I miss my friend.
I'll always love you, and I never will forget you. You were always worried about that. Trust me: Forgetting you would be an exercise in futility.
Please find me when you can; I'll be watching for you.
Forever your love,
Adam Normal (Nee Chesnutt)

Sarah was a good friend to me and my husband as well as others around us. She helped me with my wedding dress and created the most delicious cake for our reception. She was a beautiful person and didn't deserve to pass on as early as she did. She will be missed by so many people, they can't be counted.

I've known Sarah for over ten years and she still used to talk about the first time she met me whenever I gave her the chance. I haven't known many people who have touched as many lives as she did. Her loss will be felt by everyone.

To Nathan, Dave, and every person who share the grief of Sarah's death:
May Sarah's memory burn bright among us.
Let it shine, a radiant smile.
Though she journeys now to the Summerlands,
She lives always in our hearts.
