Bernice Patricia Harden Mahmoud, 72, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, was called home by the Lord on August 30, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. She was born on February 10, 1953, to Ruth "Baby Doll' Bogle Harden and Eddie C. Byirt in Dawson, Georgia.

Bernice attended Trenton Central High School, Central City Business Institute, and The Academy of Professional Development. Her educational accomplishments include her high school diploma from Trenton Central High School, diploma in Office Services and Procedures from Central City Business Institute, and certification for Business Administration from The Academy of Professional Development.

She worked as a caregiver and retired from The Arc Mercer, Inc. in Ewing, New Jersey as an Assistant Manager.

On February 10, 1998, she married Sabry M. Mahmoud. Bernice loved spending time with her family, shopping, watching TV and films, especially Westerns and Sci-fi.

She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Ruth Bogle Harden; father, Eddie C. Byirt; beloved grandparents, Rufus and Sarah Wall Harde; and special aunt, Sarah Merritt.

Bernice is survived by her daughters, Sonji Chelsea Harden (Kyley) and India Ranya Harden-Allah (Seesavior); stepchildren, Hafez, Fatma, and Mohad Mahmoud; sisters, Glenda Howlen, Martha Hunt, and Brenda Byirt; brothers, Eddie B. Watson, Marvin Hunt, and Eddie C. Byirt; grandchildren, Jamar Harrell, Quamyra and Jasmera Harden, and Jahad Allah; great grandchildren, Ja'niyah Harrell, Kendall and Kennady Smith, Albriella Harrell, Azhir Evans, and Grey Salah Harrell; special sister friends, "The Golden Girls", which included Sandy Lamons and Carol Wiggins; special niece, Charlene "Boo" Hendrix; bonus grandchild, Shanea Dean (Jeremy Ennis and Jiana Murphy); special nephews, Mario Harden and Frank E. Dismukes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
