Sorry to hear of this tragedy. You were doing a job "to serve and protect". You are continuing to do this job only now you are in a wonderful place, where these senseless tragedies do not happen. You are now serving our Lord along side him and will be able to continue protecting your family from above. Rest in peace. You gave me food and shelter when I had none. You gave me friendship, guidance, and were always available for a friendly debate. At first the loss of a love one can't be comprehended, it tugs at your every being, you feel lost and disconnected, but God who is able to do anything and everything but fail, holds us, comforts us and strengthens us for the journey ahead. I wish we could ease the hurt and pain now, but your faith, your relationship with your Heavenly Father, your strong hold to Him can get you through this, factor in family, friends and community and you will grow and God will help you to heal, not forget, but heal and aid someone else through that same journey. Today I woke up seeing life through different eyes. Mrs. Warren because of your husband's effortless peace and love for his community I now see things more clearly. I thank God for sending such a peace keeper, who even though I never knew him has changed my life for the better. I will remember to love harder, be more patient, and continue to do what I know is right. Thank you Officer Warren for blessing me even in the wake of your home going.

No matter how many years pass it is always like a younger brother has passed away, when I hear of a police officer losing his or her life. They may be anonymous in name, but in spirit they are my beloved sibling.
Time will heal the wounds caused by the loss. Memory will clowd the circumstances. The faces and names will change...it is the hurt that never goes away and is reawakened each time I hear...an officer has died.
Go into the arms of God my "little brother". You are the by words of the Memphis Police Department--Courage, Knowledge asnd Integrity.

My heart is heavy today for Officer Timothy Felton Warren and his family. Such an unnecessary tragedy was this. May God give his family strength and comfort during their time of sorrow and grief and may He continue to be with them in the many days ahead as they continue to cope with their loss. My father retired as a captain on the Cleveland PD and I know the agony of worrying about a loved one who chose to serve and protect their community. God bless you all.

Peabody Place Security family, our prayers are with the family. i met tim when i was at third and peabody place having a bad day at work last month. i work for peabody place security. tim cheered me up by cracking jokes. and said our jobs can be stressful, but sometimes we have to let our hair down and laugh every once and a while. he have shown up on calls and was a good mpd officer and a great security- police officer friend. rest in peace timothy f. warren. you are in good hands with god. see you soon!!

I am so sorry about Tim. I met him at DSU and wish I had spent more time with him. TIm was a good friend and I will chating with him on FB. I hurt every time a police officer or retired police officer died. I had a cousin and a 2nd cousin to die that were retired police officers. Praying for the family and the police department. I saw 2 police cars go down a residential street this morning with lights flashing. I said a prayer for them. May you feel God's arms around you at this time.

We are so sorry for your tragic loss. Just wanted the family of this hero to know that my family thanks and is mourning your loss, This man was a hero everyday from what the closest ones to him have said. Just to hear how he went above and beyond to help others, if only we all could leave this world saving a life, I know it doesn't help the pain of losing him, but what a crown he must have waiting for him in heaven.
