Bernie's sudden death was a shock which I learned about with great sadness. We shared many discussions together in Dr. Rubin's Humanities Forum and Mr McHenry's Shakespeare class. Bernie was a valuable and enthusiastic contributor to the discussions in both. I know that all of us in these classes will miss him a great deal.

Mr. Pogensky was a patient at the dental office where I work and I was saddened to hear of his passing. I always had great talks with him when he came in. He always had a new book with him when he came in and it gave him great pleasure to chat about his new 'read'. When his wife passed away, sadness prevailed him. It was quite apparent the love that they had for each other. I will miss his quiet, friendly and wholesome personality. I know it is calming for him to now be with Thelma, the love of his life.

We enjoyed sharing the experiences in Dr. Rubin's Literature/Humanities Forum and will miss him and his presence.
