Edward Velletri Obituary
Edward was born July 6, 1929 in North Attleboro and was a son of the late Nicholas and Louise (Nardelli) Velletri.
Edward was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and a 1948 graduate of North Attleboro High School. He then attended Northeastern University before receiving an Associate's Degree from Coyne Electrical School.
He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and worked as an electrical designer for the Metcalf & Eddy Company in Wakefield for over 32 years before retiring.
He was an avid bowler and also a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four daughters, Kathleen Fredette of North Attleboro, Patricia Ann Spieker of Garland, TX, Susan Sullivan of Plainville and Nancy Velletri of Weymouth; a sister, Angela Chilli of Foxboro; two brothers, Joseph and Anthony Velletri both ofNorth Attleboro; three grandchildren, Sara Fredette of Glendale, RI, Ryan Sullivan of Plainville and Joshua Beatty of Texas and a great granddaughter Madalyn Forte.
Visiting hours will be held in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro on Friday, July 8 from 4-8 p.m.
A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday, July 9 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark's Church, 105 Stanley Street, Attleboro Falls at 10 o'clock. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO BOX 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
