Ronald Ciombor Obituary
Born January 30, 1948 in Pawtucket, RI, he was a son of the late Louis and Jean (Wucjik) Ciombor.
Ron grew up in Seekonk and has been a resident of Plainville since 1982. He was a graduate of St. Raphael's Academy in Pawtucket and a 1971 graduate of Providence College. He then received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown Dental School in Washington D.C. in 1974.
Ron practiced dentistry for 38 years at his office on Central Avenue in Pawtucket and was proud when his daughter, Lindsay, joined him at the practice in 2006. He was a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association and the Pawtucket Dental Society.
Ron loved golfing and was a member at Highland Country Club in Attleboro, New Bedford Country Club and formerly a member at Walpole Country Club.
Together with his wife, he was an active communicant of St. Mark's Church in Attleboro Falls and involved in the marriage preparatory program within the Diocese of Fall River. He also loved gardening, flowers and plants and supporting the local sports teams especially the Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots.
Above all Ron was completely devoted to his family and friends and especially loved spending time with them at his family home in Little Compton, RI.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three children and their spouses: Jaclyn Cunningham and her husband Mark of Cumberland, RI, Dr. Lindsay Brislin, DMD and her husband Christopher of North Attleboro and Justin Ciombor and his wife Andrea of Walpole and four grandchildren: Henry, Cormac, Maeve and Charlotte.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 16 from 4-8 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday, November 17 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Attleboro at 10 o'clock. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.

I'm deeply saddened by the late news that I received about Dr. Ciombor. It was always a pleasure going to him for the past 25 years. Dr. Ciombor was always smiling and loved his job. HE not only knew your name put personally got involved in knowing you and your family. He was a social caring person and appeared to love his job and family very much. Dear Mrs. Ciombor and family. I have been a patient of Dr. Ciombor's for many years and always loved him as a friend more than a patient. We talked about our families and our grandkids and kids as they grew older. He always was pleasant and I enjoyed conversing with him about how proud he was of his children and his grandchildren. Dear Dr. Brislin and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Ciombor's untimely passing. He will always be remembered as a kind and gentle man, polite and soft spoken, and always so comforting to his patients. This wonderful person was taken much too soon.
