Al passed away surrounded by his family at his residence on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the age of 64. He was born on July 12, 1961 to the late Charles Muleller and Elaine (Dennis) McDonald in Bay City, Michigan. He worked at Hymmco as a fabricator for many years. He loved watching his son bowl and watching football with his grandson. He enjoyed taking his wife, Deb, to the casino and was an avid hunter. Al loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and brother, who would do anything to help anyone in need. He was such a loving individual that will be missed by so many.
Al is survived by his wife, Deb Mueller, whom he married on August 18, 1979 and they have spent 46 wonderful years together creating many memories that will last a lifetime. He is also survived by his son, Matthew Mueller; daughter, Amanda Mueller; grandchildren, Ben, Madison, Makynzie and Nevaeh; siblings, Scott (Charlene) Mueller, Debbie (Randy) Patteen, Denise (Randy) King, Kelly McDonald and Molly (Brian) Tibideau; step-sister, Roxanne McDonald; sister-in-law, Tami (Mike) Childers; brother-in-law, Patrick (Beve) Fach and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his father and mother-in-law, Patrick and Shirley Fach; step-father, Richard McDonald and many aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life for Al will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Gephart Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m., officiated by Pastor Jeff Engelhardt. The family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Al’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
