Celebrating her life is her husband Neyland, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and innumerable family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and NoraDel, her early life was spent traveling the world during her father’s Air Force career. After a career as a nurse, her life was spent in tireless support of her husband, children and family. Always a champion of her children, countless “surrogate” children and grandchildren. With her sharp wit and direct honesty she supported and encouraged her family in every aspect of life.
Throughout her life she maintained a passion for art and creativity. Many of her pieces were invited to hang in galleries across the country. She shared her passion with her family by teaching, sharing ideas, and often helping to create projects. She loved painting, decorating homes, and encouraging bold creativity. She inspired many of her children and grandchildren to pursue hobbies and careers in creative arts and music.
Her passion for caring for people and family also inspired many of her children and grandchildren to pursue careers in healthcare. Always ready to help friends and family, one could never doubt that you would be fiercely supported, encouraged, and protected with honest and compassionate love.
