William Frank Howell of Cumming Georgia, passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 93 of heart failure. Born March 21, 1930, in Birmingham Alabama, he was the younger brother to two sisters Margaret and Sarah. Once graduating school, Frank joined the Navy and upon proudly serving his country he met and married the love of his life, Betty, together they raised two sons - Jeff and Craig in a loving family. After a long career in management, Frank retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.
Frank was devoted to Jesus Christ and loved his church, a member of First Redeemer Church of Cumming and The Gideons International. He loved his extended family and the fellowship of his many friends. Frank is survived by sons Jeff and wife Kelly Howell and Craig and wife Deborah Smith-Howell, his two grandchildren Austen and Taylor and his great grandson Shea, sisters-in-law Glenda Osborne, Faye Monahan, Francis Carlisle, nephew Bobby McLaughlin and many loved nieces, nephews and friends. Niece Cyndy Craft and close friends Ray and Linda Carroll - who he loved.
Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Saturday, June 10, 2023 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA.
Visitation will be Friday evening June 9, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave., Cumming, GA 30040. followed by a service Saturday June 10 at 12:00 pm.
