On Tuesday, January 3, 2012, Mark Edward Turner, age 51, died at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC, after a short illness.

Mark was employed for over 25 years at Raven Services Inc. in Langley, VA. He was a 1978 graduate of Stonewall Jackson Senior High School, and he attended Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Leah C. Turner.

He is survived by his siblings, Jeanne E. Lese, G. Walter Turner, and Allison D. Turner, of Manassas, VA.; Matthew C. Turner (Kelly) of Warrenton, VA.; Margaret A. Turner of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Mark was an avid gamer, a scholar of history, a fan of noir films, and an exceptional photographer. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, Manassas, VA., with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
