Julia Eubank

EUBANK, Julia Carter, 78, of Mattaponi, Va., died Monday, June 7, 2010, at her home. Julia was a loving family leader and always an active church worker who also enjoyed golf and sea shelling. She was a member of ASA who kept in contact with her "girls" from Madison College. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Nellie Carter. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alvah H. Eubank Jr.; two sons, Alvah Carter Eubank and his wife, Patricia, of Snellville, Ga. and Thomas Glenn Eubank and his wife, Anita, of Helena, Ala.; a daughter, Anne Catherine Eubank and her husband, Kenneth Powell, of West Point, Va.; and seven grandchildren, Chris Dobbins, Aaron Eubank, Kyle Bohannon, Katie Eubank, Dana Bohannon, Allen Powell and Emily Eubank. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in West Point Christian Church, 290 W. Euclid Blvd., West Point, Va. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 417 11th St., West Point, Va.
