Barbara Passloff

PASSLOFF, Barbara Schiff, born in 1932 in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on December 15, 2009 in White Plains, N.Y., surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Passloff of Richmond, Va.; devoted mother of Steve Gottschalk, Ann (Reed) Joiner, Marc (Rachel Duclos) Gottschalk and Lynn (Adam) Drucker; and proud grandmother of Danny, Becky and Michael Joiner, Zachary Duclos Gottschalk and RJ and Jason Drucker. She leaves her cherished sisters, Carole (Jim) Straus and Simone (Roger) Englander; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She graduated with a BA from Goucher College and earned an MBA from Pace University, while working full-time and raising four children. Her heroic 23-year battle with breast cancer and incredible will to live will always be an inspiration to all of us. She will be deeply missed.
