Dear Norma, Susie, Terry and family,
David was our neighbor and friend for almost 33 years. He was like a brother to me. He had a great wit and sense of humor, and everyone loved his stories. He could tell the same story over and over and still keep you laughing, even if you were just laughing because it was the fifth time you'd heard it or if you were the object of his funny story. Throughout his life, he made so many wonderful friends, and it seemed everyone had a "Dave story" of their own
He loved Norma Jean with his whole heart and was totally devoted to her. For 50 years he continued their courtship—looking forward to every Friday when he would tell us she was home waiting for him (“washy, washy”)! He was so proud of his children and grandchildren. We will miss him greatly but look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.
May your wonderful memories bring you comfort during the days ahead.

I am so upset to just learn of this today. I knew Dave wasn't doing well but I thought he had a little more time. I am so sadden by his passing. I will always remember him wearing my pink fuzzy hat at Christmas and giving me such a hard time. I cherish the holidays and trips to the beach I got to spend with him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I love you all so much...

To Norma and Family,
Dave was a gentleman, a professional and most of all a friend not just to me but to many in the furniture industry. I enjoyed working with Dave and missed out times together at recent Markets. He always talked about his family and you could see his love for them.
Dave was one of the "good guys" who tried to make you believe the opposite. He is missed.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Your love and support provides my family strength during this difficult time.
I want to mention that the picture of dad is cropped from a photo taken last year. It was mom and dad celebrating their 50th Anniversary at Ruth's Chris with Terry and me. My friend Robin and the staff made sure it was a memorable night. His smile says it all. It always has.
My dad had a good life and he lived it fully to the end.
Bless you all,
Susie

Norma,
What a loss, a great guy that was loved by many. A true friend and a person who told it as it was!!! I will miss that Carolina accent and his great stories.
I have been one of the fortunate ones that have served with him on the Board of Officers at Manchester Moose Lodge and he was and asset to Lodge.
He will be greatly missed by all of us and a true friend.
