Davis Allen CLIBORNE Jr.

CLIBORNE, Davis Allen Jr., of Powhatan, went home to be with our loving heavenly Father, Monday, June 27, 2011. He will be missed by his loving wife, Betty Cliborne; his stepdaughter and husband, Diane and Vernon Cheek; his beloved grandchildren, Joey and Becky Cheek; son, Keith Cassada and his children, Ann and Stephen; and his cousin, Garnett Cliborne. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, where he served as a Seal. He was a member of the American Legion Post 186. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sudie Henderson Cliborne; and his father, Davis A. Cliborne Sr. He was a member of the Southminster Presbyterian Church in South Richmond. A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, Virginia.
