Mary was the sweetest lady I have ever known. What a wonderful godmother she was for me and my sister! I will miss her so very much.

September 10, 2010

Mary, my cousin, was a dear, sweet lady who had a gentle touch and a big heart. I have many fond memories with Mary, especially at Christmas my sisters Helen and Louise, the three of us and Mary would go to Miller & Rhoads Tea Room to see Santa. Mary and I would take my sons Robert and Michael to Miller & Rhoads every Christmas when they were young to see Santa and have cake. Family traditions were important to Mary. My moms Thanksgiving Dinners together with Mary, the Parrish's, Metcalf's & Chandler's every year were another cherished time! Love of family and God were most important to Mary. Mary you will be greatly missed, but will be in our hearts forever! Love, Diana
