Aaron was the best man our family ever knew. We just heard about his death. We had been sending cards and letters for over a year. So sad to hear. He was a honest and kind guy that would do anything for you. He served with my husband at Ft Belvoir. He stayed at our house when he came back from Korea. He had such wonderful stories and so loved the military and his family. Sorely missed in this world. Jay and Nancy Rapalee

I served alongside Aaron in the late 80´s. We were senior noncommissioned officers assigned to a logistics support command in St Louis, MO. We´d both come from regular Army units overseas, he I believe from Korea and myself from Panama. Aaron was an extremely capable leader who looked out for the younger soldiers. He was also someone whom I could depend on to do the right thing. Later, after retirement we exchanged Christmas cards, his always being the first we´d receive in the holiday season.
I remain proud to call him my friend. My sincere condolences to his family and to those close enough to appreciate what an excellent person he was.

My wife and I, John and Jeanne Mills, were stationed with Aaron in Naples, Italy in the early "80s at Radio Receiver Site, AFSOUTH, working with all the different branches of the US Military and NATO Command. He was the site "Supply guy" furnishing parts for various nation's and various ages of electronic assemblies. We enjoyed our time with him. He was the sparkplug of site morale, always ready to listen or talk. Over the years since, his Christmas Card was always the First to arrive. He was a good soldier. He will be missed. Rest in peace, Aaron.
