Allen Wells Obituary
MARTINSBURG- Allen Ross Wells was born September 29, 1961, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Ross Leon & Beverly Jean (Swaim) Wells. Allen worked in maintenance and drove heavy machinery for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, doing projects with his family and friends, anything John Wayne and spending time with his children. Allen died on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney, at the age of 61.
He is survived by two sons Cody (Breanne) Wells and Ryan (Amber) Wells; three grandchildren, twins Amelia and Heath Wells and Logan Wells; significant other Joey Hamilton; a sister Debbie Whorton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and a brother Mike Wells.
Services to remember Allen and celebrate his life will be held in spring as to accommodate his many family and friends and truly keep his memory alive. Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney is caring for Allen and his family. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
