Alverda O'Hara

Alverda L. "Birdie" Kivador O'Hara, 69, of Greensburg, formerly of Clairton, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at her home. She was born in Jefferson on October 6, 1956, to the late Charles "Big A" Kivador and Twyla Knight Bowers. She is survived by sons Dan (Kristy) Kivador of Hempfield, Grant (Dana) O'Hara of Wheeling, WV, Matthew O'Hara of Liberty, and James R. (Tonya) O'Hara, Jr. of Washington, sister Sandra Butvin of Portage, IN, fifteen grandchildren, nephews John, Jimmy, and Andrew Butvin, and beloved cat Willow. She enjoyed collecting knick-knacks, enjoyed watching The Fast and the Furious, and worked as a C.N.A. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A memorial service will be held on Friday November 14, 2025 at S. M. Finney Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. with the service taking place at 2:00 P.M.
