Anita P. Hale, 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. She was born August 13, 1933, to Lee and Rose Fallieres in Detroit, MI. She attended Wayne State University studying education. She was married to M. Norman Hale for over 60+ years. Anita was a key punch operator at LOF and Pilkington, where she later retired.
Anita and Norman loved to square dance together. She enjoyed gardening, chalk art, and the outdoors. She has some incredible chalk art pieces she created even though she never had training. She gave to every charity possible throughout her life because she enjoyed helping others so much. Anita touched many lives, everyone who knew her said how beautiful and caring she was.
She is survived by her sisters, Shirlee Fallieres, Barbara Fallieres and Michele Feld, as well as eleven nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, M. Norman Hale; brothers, Leo Loria and Lee Fallieres; and sister, Elisabeth McKenzie.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:00am – 11:00am at St. Pius X Church, 3011 Carskaddon Ave., where the Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bonaventure Capuchin Monastery, 1740 Mt. Elliott St., Detroit, MI 48207.
