Anthony D. Dettorre

Anthony D. Dettorre, 92, died January 8, 2022 at Beverly Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Pinciaro) Dettorre. He was born in Beverly to the late Sabatino and Nunziata (Ricciardi) Dettorre.
An honorary discharged veteran, he served in the United States Army Constabulary as a Master Sargent during the post World War Two occupation in the European theater.
A graduate of Beverly High School and the Massachusetts School of Radio and TV Repair
He enjoyed golf, gardening, computer games and spending time with family and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Barbara with whom they shared 65 of marriage, he leaves three sons, Anthony "Tony" Dettorre of Beverly, Robert F. (Bob) Dettorre and his wife Susan of Beverly, Paul A. Dettorre and his wife Sarah of Durham, NC; five grandchildren, Matthew Dettorre and his wife Paige, Michael Dettorre, Andrea Dettorre, Brian Dettorre, Allison Dettorre; one great granddaughter, Madison Dettorre. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lucia Dettorre; four sisters, Lena Ward, Mary Fiore, Rita Ruta, Lucia Dettorre.
His funeral service will be held in the Campbell Funeral Home 525 Cabot Street Beverly on Saturday January 15, 2021 at 3 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
