Arnold Theodore Klausmeyer Jr.

Arnold Klausmeyer, Jr. of Welcome, Texas passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 74.
Arnold was born on May 6, 1948 in Bellville, Texas to Arnold and Irene Spiess Klausmeyer. He was baptized on December 24, 1978 and confirmed on March 7, 1982 in the Catholic Church. He married Elizabeth Ann Wostarek, on February 17, 1973 and they were blessed with 5 children. He worked as a shipping supervisor for Sealy Mattress for over forty years and proudly served in the United States Army - Royal Artillery before being honorary discharged.
Arnold enjoyed spending time hunting, gardening, and being in the outdoors and most especially loved every minute of spending time with his grandchildren. He liked to spend time on Sunday mornings at K&S in Industry with friends over morning coffee after church and always enjoyed telling stories and reminiscing of the good old days. Arnold was an honorary and lifetime Knights of Columbus member, serving as the Grand Knight several times. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Industry serving as a hospitality minister and as a Eucharistic minister.
Arnold is survived by his son Jason Klausmeyer and daughter-in-law Danielle of Bernardo, Texas; sons Ryan Klausmeyer and Brad Klausmeyer, both of Industry, Texas; daughter, Amber Klausmeyer of Bellville, Texas; daughter Ashley Spotted Wolf and son-in-law Lloyd of Cypress, Texas; grandchildren Corbin Klausmeyer, Claire Klausmeyer, Elizabeth Spotted Wolf, Rock Spotted Wolf, and Presley Spotted Wolf; brother Ben Klausmeyer and sister-in-law Dorothy, sister Barbara Hurtig and brother-in-law Ronnie, and numerous sisters/brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Wostarek Klausmeyer; parents, Arnold and Irene Klausmeyer Sr.; in-laws Justin V. and Cora Buxkemper Wostarek; brothers-in-law, Allen Wostarek and Karl Jeffry Wostarek.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. The rosary, led by the Industry Knights of Columbus, will start at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Industry, Texas with burial following in the church cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Garrett Hinze, Jeff Hinze, Russell Klausmeyer, Rodney Klausmeyer, Ricky Klausmeyer, Robert Hurtig, and Reese Hurtig.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Arnold's grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Immaculate Conception Church in Industry or Knights of Columbus – Industry #10224.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main St., Brenham.
