Barbara Woolf Obituary
Barbara grew up in Bonner Springs, Kansas with her parents and her two surviving sisters Jeanene Pelzl and Marylin Baldwin.
She attended Bonner Springs High School then earned her degree as a registered nurse at St. Margaret's Hospital - School of Nursing. She worked in the following hospitals during her 47-year career as a nurse prior to her retirement in 2009: Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kansas; Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas; Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas.
Barbara and Mike married in 1963 and had their daughter Angela in 1966. She loved to garden and to spend time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Dennis "Mike" Woolf; daughter, Angela Hagen; and grandchildren, Garrett Hagen, Riley Hagen, and Erik Hagen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Overland Park, Kansas.
