Bart Joseph White

Bart, age 61, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. He was a resident of Walker, LA. Bart was an extremely hard worker who has been a successful business owner of Acadian Mechanical Inc. since 1999. Bart was most happy surrounded by his grandbabies and went out of his way to be the best Paw Paw ever! He truly was a family man and quality time together was most important to him. Bart left his family with incredible memories and a lifetime of smiles and will be deeply missed.
He was a huge fan of LSU Sports and Saints football as well as Talladega! Bart loved his antiquing road trips. Any day of the week when he could steal time away from work, he loved pulling the Harley out for a quick getaway. His favorite thing to do was to cook or have a crawfish boil and invite family and friends.
He is survived by his Sons, Bret Michael White, Jerry Rhodus Jr. and Melissa Rhodus, Loyd Rhodus; Daughter and Son-in-law, Brittany and Chard Gauthier, Daughter, Suziette Young; Mother, Billie Jean Felder White; Sister, Becky Jean White Neal; Brothers and Sisters-in law, Lester Charles White and Tanya B White; Grandchildren, Carter Rhodus, Landon Rhodus, Evan Rhodus, Britton "Turkey" Kiger, Riley "Princess" Gauthier, Hudson "Heathen" Gauthier, Brooke and Madden Young; Nieces and Nephews, John "Neal Boy", Natalie Marie Neal, Ademar White, Brittany White, "Odette" White Atkinson; Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews, Jude Thomas Davis, Callie Marie Neal, Addison and Kinsley White, Duane Charles Atkinson, Dexter Cole Atkinson; his best friend, his dog Hershey White.
Bart is preceded in death by his Father, Willard J. "Billy" White; Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Charles White, Mr. and Mrs. Lester C. Felder Sr.; Uncle, Lester C. Felder Jr.; Cousins, Gordon Felder, Mary Felder, Terry Hall and Brother-in-law, Bo Fletcher.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ochsner's Cardiovascular Medical Team, ICU Nurses and caregivers for the exceptional care given to Mr. Bart.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 7738 Florida Blvd. Denham Springs, Lan on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Brother Mark Carrol.
