I´m so sorry to find that Mr Mitchell had passed away. The last contact we had was shortly before his brain surgery when he was in the hospital. He was my guidance counselor at Spotsylvania High School and we had a special bond together. I will cherish my memories of him forever. Glad his suffering is over.

Mr. Mitchell was a wonderful biology teacher! Such a kind and good man. Our paths crossed again when I became a counselor and we reunited at conferences. He always said how proud he was of his students! He came to our 40th Class Reunion and we were so happy to see him! He touched so many lives and inspired so many. Take your rest, Mr. Mitchell. You made this world a better place. Picture above is from our Hawaiian themed Class Reunion. May he Rest In Peace.

Jimmie was a wonderful counselor to our Wesr Park Elementary students and an equally wonderful human being. It was my privilege to be his principal. Rest in peace, Jimmie.

I worked with Jim at West Park Elementary in Houma. He was the most welcoming and kind person from the moment we met. May God rest his soul!
