Christine Ann Presser

Christine Ann Presser, 73, a longtime resident of Lapeer, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Detroit, MI on September 1, 1950. Christine was a graduate of Utica High School. She was a homemaker, a cosmetologist, and also a bank teller with Chase bank in Davison for several years. She had a deep love for sailing with her fiancé Jim and they would launch out of Bay City Marina regularly. She cherished her cat Captain Jack Sparrow and bird watching. Because of her love for all animals, memorial donations may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue. Christine battled breast cancer, but she persevered and was a 10 year survivor, which is a testament to her strength.
Christine was a proud member of the Lapeer Eagles Club. She enjoyed spending her time playing Skip-Bo with her friends and her occasional trips to Florida to spend time with her brother Jeff and his family. Most of all, she cherished her time spent with family and attending as many of her grandchildren's sporting events as she could.
Christine is survived by her daughters Kim (Vince) Molosky, Michelle (Ryan) Ashton, and Stephanie Albrecht. She was a loving Mimi to Bella, Sophia, Aidan, Elle, Chloe, and Camden. Dear sister to Jeff (Kathie) Hohendorf, David (Desi) Hohendorf, Frank Hohendorf and Kelley (Dewayne) Johnson. Beloved sister-in-law to Diane Hohendorf and a loving aunt to many.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Eileen Hohendorf; Fiancé Jim Gomer; brother Randy Hohendorf.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. Rev. Andrew A. Czajkowski will officiate. Friends may visit prior to the service from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Paradise Animal Rescue.
