MRS. Cleo Ivey Felts

MRS. CLEO IVEY FELTS was born in Thomson, GA to the late Bobbie Mae Evans and the late Henry Ivey, Sr. on Thursday, April 16, 1942. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at her residence.
Cleo Ivey was united in matrimony to Willie B. Felts, to this union, two sons were born. At an early age, she accepted Jesus, The Christ as her Savior and joined the Stoney Grove Christian Methodist Church of Warrenton, GA. Cleo was a faithful member and served on the Missionary Board until her decline in health forbid her from serving on the Board. During her employment years, she was gainfully employed with the former Warrenton Rubber Company of Warrenton, GA, and she also worked for Dr. Peacock as an Environmental Technician at his dentist office in Thomson, GA.
Cleo enjoyed the simple pleasures that life had to offer. She loved spending quality time with family members and friends. During her spare time, she thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking, dancing, fishing, a game of checkers and just having a good ol' time. Our dearly beloved Cleo Ivey Felts will be missed every day, but her memory will never fade away. Her light may have dimmed, but it will continue to shine through us. Although we have lost a loved one, we have gained an angel that will be watching over us from Heaven.
In addition to her parents, Cleo is predeceased by her husband, Willie B. Felts; a daughter, Brenda Harris; two sons, Rufus Cody, Jr. and Ricky Harris; ten siblings, Bessie McGahee, Thelma Brown, Mary Lois Ivey, Mary Frances Taylor, Betty Jean Jackson, Lula Bell Hobbs, Toby Lee Ivey, Sam Ivey, Herbert Ivey and Henry Ivey, Jr. A lifetime of precious memories are left to be cherished by those who have survived her: two dedicated sons, Billy (Renee) Felts and Jamie (Melinda) Felts, all of Thomson, GA; two daughters, Angela Felts of Thomson, GA and Shirley Eddins of Miami, FL; two sisters, Bobbie Jean Ivey and Lena Mae Ivey, both of Thomson, GA; two additional daughters-in-law, Tangela Harris of Miami, FL and Sharon Cody of Camak, GA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Arlene Reese Ivey of Thomson, GA, Leola Johnson and Barbara Terrell, both of Atlanta, GA; two brothers-in-law, William Hobbs and Willie Major, both of Thomson, GA; a devoted niece, Loretta Felts of Atlanta, GA; a devoted nephew, Min. Dwayne Ivey of Thomson, GA; a host of additional nieces, additional nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
