I remember Danny when we´d visit the Scheltema house in Benjamin Constant, Brazil. I always appreciated the good-natured, friendly family. My condolences to you who remain.

I first met Danny when his family flew in to our mission station on the Amazon River. He was a happy little towhead that liked to tag along with we older boys as we hiked, fished, shot BB guns and swam in the creek. To my regret, I lost contact with Danny later on in life, but all my memories of him are good.
