David McIntyre Obituary
David McIntyre, 59, lifelong resident of Hingham, passed away peacefully on April 4th, 2024.
David was born on October 5th, 1964 to Barbara McIntyre in Quincy. After David graduated from Hingham High School in 1982, he joined the Army National Guard.
After the service, he joined the Millwright Union Local 1121 for many years until his retirement.
In 1983, David met Suzanne. David and Suzanne went on to marry and have two daughters, Stephanie and Nicole.
David's hobbies included metal detecting, golfing, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and attending concerts.
David is survived by his mother Barbara McIntyre, wife Suzanne McIntyre, oldest daughter Stephanie McIntyre and youngest daughter Nicole McIntyre as well as his brother Billy McIntyre and sister in law Priscilla McIntyre, Stephanie and Nicole's partners Paul McDonald and Cody Barnes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and many cousins and friends. David was also excited for the expectance of his first grandchild from Stephanie, due in September.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday April 10, 2024 at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel 21 Pond St Hingham from 4-7pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday April 11, 2024 at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society.
