Surviving are brothers: Jackie Wayne Ellis, Johnny Carold Ellis and his niece, Annie Marie Ellis and Katie Ann Cash.
Dennis served in the United States Army in 1973-1976. He spent many years driving a tractor trailer. His heart was in all for the love of animals. His favorite thing to do was to hang at home with his beloved dog, Sasha- she was truly his best friend.
Honoring his wishes, no services will held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Protection Society of Person County, PO Box 291, Roxboro, NC 27573.
