Funeral services for Mrs. Edna R Dobbs Williams, 90, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
January 31, 2023, in the chapel at Charles Rader Funeral Home with Steve McFarland
officiating. Interment will follow at Crim Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Charles Rader
Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 11am to the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams passed from this life on January 27, 2023. She was born October 29, 1932, in
Palestine TX to the late Johnny LeRoy and Myrtle Irene Oliver Dobbs. In her spare time, she
enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers and plants. She also loved to sing in the church
choir and listen to gospel music.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Howard W
Williams, daughter Charlene Ann Williams, son Charles W Williams, son-in law Billy Owens
and brothers and sisters Floyd Dobbs, Johnny LeRoy Dobbs Jr., Harold Dobbs, Edward Earl
Dobbs, Mildred Canterberry.
Survivors include her daughter Beverly J. Owens, daughter-in-law Patti Williams, grandson
Wesley Williams and his wife Tammy, granddaughters Amanda Culpepper and her husband
Marvin, Amber Smith and her husband Colton, Holli Heim and her husband Hudson,
grandchildren Cullen Williams, Coben Williams, Mekeighla Smith, Lilly Reynolds, Walker
Smith, Beau Culpepper and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family
would also like to acknowledge and express their sincere appreciation to Heart to Heart
Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Williams, Marvin Culpepper, Colton Smith, Cullen Williams, Coben
Williams, Hudson Heim.
