It is with deep sorrow but also with profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Jeremy Shane Reeves, age 54. He was born on November 3rd 1970 in Shreveport, Louisiana, and departed this world on October the 24th 2025 in Texarkana Texas surrounded by his children and the woman he loved, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and devotion to family and friends.
Shane was born to Jerry Reeves and Gwen Reeves in Shreveport Louisiana. From an early age he showed a gift for fixing anything and everything, tinkering and mechanics, and could ride a motorcycle well enough for Evil Knievel. Shane made friends wherever he went. He attended Lewisville high school and later built a career as an esteemed Electrician working wherever called. But it was not work alone that defined Shane, it was his heart.
Shane loved 3 women in his life, in 1991 he married Dawn Sellers and had a son Clayton. He loved again when he married Wendy Ream in 2001 and they had 2 children Dakota and Montanna. And ultimately he met the woman in 2018 he would love til his last day Jodi Luzio. Shane loved his 3 children deeply and his 3 grandchildren Eleanor, Camille, and Evie.
Shane loved music and always wanted it playing, he loved anything automotive or mechanical, and enjoyed spending time with loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held at East Texas funeral home in Longview, Texas on October 30th 2025 at 2 pm. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their favorite stories and memories of Shane.
