"Jerry" and I were part of that same senior lawn lunch gang Tom Burke
mentioned in his entry. of that group.....Ron Felker, Gary Riley, Steve
Powers and now "Jerry" are all gone. May they all rest in peace. I'm
glad I was in the eighth grade golf club with Gerald. The only problem
I had........he was always bugging me for tips and instructions. I am
glad, in later years we visited by phone and exchanged Xmas cards.

I went to junior high and high school with Gerald Little. We always remained casual friends, often eating lunch together on the senior lawn at Point Loma High School in San Diego. I think one of our high school annuals the inside cover and fly leaf had a senior lawn lunch picture that included him. He was also friends with J.C. McClain, Steve Powers, Ron Felker, and Tom Cresci, also shown in the picture.
Gerald was a nice kid and, from what his obituary said, continued that throughout his life.
I think I can still get in touch with J.C. McClain so maybe I can let him know. I can still see the two of them walking across the Point Loma High School field, laughing together while getting out of their caps and gowns on graduation day.
Somehow we got hooked up on the phone together maybe 5-10 years back. As I find his obituary published, I'm glad I got a final opportunity to have a nice conversation. At our ages, if we don't take those opportunities, they'll never come again.

Always enjoyed traveling with Mr. Gerry and working with him. Was always the same no matter where you ran into him. He will be missed.
