Gerald W. "Jerry" Turner Jr.

On March 26th, 2023; Gerald "Jerry" Turner, Jr., of Middle River, MD; loving husband of Minette Stewart-Turner; cherished son of Gloria and the late Gerald "Big Jer", Sr.; devoted father of Emily, Collin, Mariah, and Kiran; caring brother of Cynthynee Kitchens (Texas) and husband George; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous colleagues from University of Maryland, Sinai Hospital, Union Memorial Hospital, and Mercy Medical Center.
Jerry, as he was affectionately known, received his education in New Mexico area schools before leaving for the Army. After several years with the armed forces, he went on to continue with the medical training he received and entered the world of Nursing. He was a dedicated Cardiac Surgical Nurse of over 20 years. Jerry was a loyal husband, father and friend and found joy in going on adventures, as well as hanging out and enjoying dinners or watching a sports game. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Jerry's life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home – 8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD, on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, for a visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, at 11 AM at Evans. Immediately following the Celebration of Life, the family would like to invite everyone to a repast to be held at the VFW Post 6506, at 8777 Philadelphia Road, Rosedale. Interment has requested to be private.
