Funeral services for Hilda Jones Baugh, 93 of West Monroe, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Brother Chad Ballard will officiate and interment will follow at Old Sardis Cemetery in West Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of service at the funeral home.
Hilda was born on December 29, 1930 in Jena, Louisiana, to Millard and Ruby Jones. She was the oldest of six children and left this life on April 20, 2024.
Hilda was a very talented seamstress who also loved to crochet both doilies and afghans. Her favorite pastimes were putting puzzles together, reading and working Word-Find books. She also was very active in the activities at The Guest House, which had been her residence for the last two years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Baugh; her parents; along with two brothers, Levon Jones and Frankie Jones; and brother-in-law, Roy Eady.
Hilda is survived by her daughter, Ilene Christy (Randy); grandsons, Kevin Christy and Kyle Christy (Alicia); great-grandchildren, Mason Kerr and Kimber Christy; two sisters, Wanda Eady, and Jenell Graham (Wade); brother, Waymond Jones (Kathy); numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Wade Graham, Kevin Christy, Kyle Christy, Butch Jones and Wesley Jones.
The family wishes to thank The Guest House staff and Elara Caring (hospice) for taking such excellent care of our loved one and always being there for us. A special thank you goes to Vicky Usery for being such a wonderful and awesome roommate and friend.
