James Michael "Mike" Jones, 71, of Coldwater, MS passed away on July 15, 2023. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with the service immediately after at 12:00 pm, all at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. The interment will be at Greenleaf Cemetery in Coldwater, MS. Bro. Danny Bell of Gray's Creek Baptist Church will officiate
Mike was born on July 26, 1951 in Clanton, AL. He was the owner of Town Square Market in Hernando for many years. He was a member of Gray's Creek Baptist Church. He loved to play golf in his free time. Mike was an incredibly kind and sweet man who would do anything to help someone. He was with the love of his life, JoAnn, for thirty years and they had been married for twenty-two years.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Lenora and Berniece Lake Jones; sister, Deloris Ready; and brother, Don Jones.
Mike is survived by his wife, JoAnn Jones of Coldwater, MS, and brother, Terry Jones (Harriet) of Boulder, CO.
In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in his name to Gray's Creek Baptist Church (901-359-7636).
