11th, 1945 in Cloete, Coahuila Mexico to Isidro & Guadalupe Ruiz. He was retired and had previously worked with the
City of Indio Public Works Department for over 20 years and also with R&R Towing in Indio.
Jose enjoyed building & riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a member & one of founders of the "Mescaleros"
motorcycle club, So Cal Chapter.
Jose was married to and survived by Guadalupe Duran Ruiz on April 21st, 1977. His sons and daughter in-laws are
Joe & Korena Ruiz of Indio and Edward & Rebecca Q. Ruiz. of Indio. His step-daughters are Lisa Gonzales of La Quinta,
Mona Gonzales of Indio, Vickie Gonzales of Indio, and Pauline Gonzales (Elders) & her husband Adam Elders of Palm
Desert. Jose has 17 Grandchildren and 21 Great-great grandchildren.
