Fernando Marco Ruiz

Fernando Marco Ruiz, age 45, passed away after a long and difficult battle. Though his struggle was great, his love for those around him was even greater. Fernando had a heart that was full of compassion, laughter, and light.
Survived by his parents Maria Vasquez-Sanchez (Pete Sanchez) and Rolando Ruiz Sr., Fernando grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. He was a proud father to six beautiful children: Austin Monica, Adrian Ruiz, Brooklynn Ruiz, Tiara Ruiz, Izabella Ruiz, and Damarco Banks-Sylvester, and grandson Jasper Monica.
Fernando is also survived by his siblings Gabe Ruiz, Rolando Ruiz Jr., Orlando Ruiz, Valerie Ruiz, Mando Ruiz, and Amanda Wooten and her husband, Damontae Wooten, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who loved him deeply.
Those who knew Fernando will remember his contagious smile, his humor, and his endless love for his family. He had a special way of turning the hardest moments into laughter. Though his life was cut short, his memory and the love he gave will live on through all who knew him. His parents, his family, his kids, his love for life was always there, yet he struggled with addiction that tore him from this world. May no one ever say he did not love with his whole heart, because if you truly knew him, you would know that he did.
A memorial service will be held on October 19th at Ambrose Funeral Home from 12-3 p.m., with the service starting at 3 p.m. Celebrate his life and the love he left behind. May his soul find peace, free from the struggles he faced, and may his memory continue to remind all of the power of love and forgiveness.
